Wisdom To Tell

If you had one final lecture to share with a group of students on what you have learned from this course, what would you share?   If I had to give one final lecture about what I’ve learned, I would share the importance of looking inward at yourself, to find your true passion and path.  The entrepreneur's life requires resilience and strength where you know yourself very we ll because if you don’t, you’ll struggle with failures instead of taking them as learning opportunities.  Knowing where you want to end up at the end of your life is a valuable tool for building the life you want. Each step will get you closer to your end goal. When you know yourself and  are satisfied with your efforts  every day , instead of  seeking  the  rush of excitement , you will find meaning and satisfaction.   What would be your last bit of advice to someone wanting to begin  the  entrepreneur journey?   My advice would be to make sure you have an end goal in mind. Go big or go home

I don't naturally follow the mentality of “go big or go home” but what I've learned with the readings this week is that when you start off at a large company early in your career, and then move to smaller ones over time  and start your own,  you are likely to follow the path of entrepreneurial success. There is so much to learn from the success of a large company. Take it all in and understand how they  got to this point. Focusing on what you love to do, what you want to do every day is a whole new world of loving you path. This can be  applied to many aspects of life. We all have the choice to live how we want. What’s the most important thing to you? How do you w

"What's a Business For?"      Based on what you read in the first two pages (pages 3 and 4), why are virtue and integrity so vital to an economy?   Virtue and integrity are so vital to an economy because if companies do not have  the customers'  trust, they will not invest their money  with  them.  Many companies are becoming selfish and power/money hungry and when they lose integrity like this, people notice and don’t trust them to invest their money safely.  The economy naturally suffers in this case if people feel better about keeping money under a mattress rather than in a bank or company.     According to Charles Handy, what is the “real justification” for the existence of businesses?   The real justification for business existence is  to make a difference in the world. Business es   need  to make enough money  to carry through with  this purpose. The purpose is not to make money to then make more money. The money is  ne e ded to allow the company to do good an
