Wisdom To Tell

  • If you had one final lecture to share with a group of students on what you have learned from this course, what would you share?

If I had to give one final lecture about what I’ve learned, I would share the importance of looking inward at yourself, to find your true passion and path. The entrepreneur's life requires resilience and strength where you know yourself very well because if you don’t, you’ll struggle with failures instead of taking them as learning opportunities. Knowing where you want to end up at the end of your life is a valuable tool for building the life you want. Each step will get you closer to your end goal. When you know yourself and are satisfied with your efforts every day, instead of seeking the rush of excitement, you will find meaning and satisfaction.

  • What would be your last bit of advice to someone wanting to begin the entrepreneur journey?

My advice would be to make sure you have an end goal in mind. Work backwards and find the steps you need to take to get to your goal. Put guardrails in place so that you don’t cross into forbidden paths where you don’t want to go. Make the boundaries now before challenging times arise. There will be many challenges but each one has something grand to learn and can help you along your way.

  • What words of advice, direction, or caution would you give him or her if you had only one chance to give your own last lecture?

My last lecture would be about the hero’s journey. Each day is not only a step toward what you want to accomplish, but it is a crucial step to digest and understand your progress. Everyday cannot be the day you win the prize and are victorious. But everyday can be a meaningful step to loving yourself and the state you are in. Be present and mindful of everything that happens around you.
